The Crosthwait Tournament itself and the significant charitable contributions Crosthwait makes to the local community would not be possible without the generous support from all of its fantastic sponsors.
Each year, about 40 people volunteer their time, nearly year-round, for the Crosthwait Memorial Fishing Tournament. Several volunteers have been part of the team since the very first tournament. We now have second-generation volunteers helping with the tournament. These young volunteers are the future of our tournament.
It takes many hours and days of preparation to host the Crosthwait Memorial Fishing Tournament, and the committee and anglers appreciate all of the time and effort that everyone gives to ensure each year is a success.

Each year, the tournament Chairperson manages the event with a team of over 40 volunteers. Meetings start each January to begin the planning and the Chairperson reports to a seven member Board of Directors.
